To be honest DB i'm shocked! Wasnt the Franky longer than the goonch? Thats crazy that he would have chased it out of the tank, i'm guessing more he got spooked by the goonch possibly, not attacked ... may have snapped at him though ... the issue with keeping them with rays is keeping the rays well fed ... my male hystrix has got heart and fights with the cats for pellets, but when the cats turn up the heat he runs like hell ... there is also a possibility of a ray stinging the goonch out of fear during feeding, cause the goonches (at least mine) go absolutely berserk when food goes in the tank ... they have a good ability to differentiate between ray and pellet, but if a pellet is on the rays back, the goonch will bite and scare the crap out of the ray ... i've had no injuries to rays though, but its def possible .... main issue is keeping the rays well fed without having to dump 90 lbs of food in the tank every feeding
