so water checks all done again, still sat at 0 across the boards.
also had a wander round a LFS may have spied some nice size koi to go in there. also hoping to get over and collect the new tank this weekend, and have a look at what it needs.

well research into nile perch i think even a tank suitable for a 8ft goonch is nothing compared to what would be needed for a nile hahahah, at least the goonch spends most of its days motionless.
hope you find homes for them though, the koi i got are going to be monsters if i can't find a system of feeding to keep them from eating carni pellets, and it's going to wreak havoc on my water lol may ordered a couple more filters.

on Friday before I picked up some koi I did a water check, and here was the results
Now three days later the nitrites have spiked ammonia still 0.
its WC day so could just be that but I may move the koi to my small pond for a while and get some smaller fish with less bio to sit in here. Besides my wife picked some very dull koi.

Also ment to add the PH is about 7.5 so not overly concerned I'll do a big water change today and a couple through the week and monitor the levels
well moved the koi out they were annoying me, i just can't work out why think it was the colours hahaha but not to worry they are now in my pond so happier outside.
well the pellets paying off there is definitely growth going on not quite sure how much but eyeballing i would say about 1" maybe.
