Depending on ur pleco... i would say add a hiding place...

My 150gallon is currently housing 3 fancy pleco..... (i like plecos alot) and 1/3 pleco is always hiding...

anywho looks like a nice setup... maybe adding something with red color... like a Red Terror...

All very good advice. I plan on adding in another tube for the future fire eel. I am also considering what kind of pleco I want for this tank. Any suggestions for the type of pleco? Also so a Arrowana the other day, is this something I can have in the same tank as a fire eel? Anymore advice would be appreciated. Also I plan on adding in some plants in the near future.

For plecos there are just tons of species so it's more of what do you like! Here is a site with all the L#s http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/numbers.php?mode=l&thumbs=16 Just make sure it is one that will be big enough that the bichir cant eat it! I currently have a calico bn, L18, and L200 and they are awesome!

I wouldnt do an arowana. You'll have to upgrade your tank and you already have a good stock list. But a the eel would work with the arowana if you wanted to totally change your tank.

I like your two Pleco's very nice pics. I will have to decide. In my 90 gallon I have a L021, I will put more updates as I introduce the fish

Since you are going to have larger tank mates maybe get something like a L14, L24, L25, L264, L190, etc. All of these get larger so they wouldnt get eaten!

On the note of the arowana... Your driftwood would get in the way of the arowana.. those very very big driftwood, and a arowana will get caught in it when it gets too skittish... 90% of the time a arowana will get skittish and hurt itself it thers something in the way.... thats why most people have driftwood very low on the bottom and usually with no plants...

Best of luck on the stock list..

as for your L021 (sailfin) i think going a medium size pleco would be nice... a green phantom or lemon pleco... it also depends on how big is ur sailfin...

u COULD do a big giant pleco.. but ur driftwoods might be a problem for them as well... i suggest clown loches..

arowanas are soooo cool I saw one at a pet store once it was huge!

I agree on the arrowana, that will not be happening. I will have to do some investigating on the Pleco to see which one or ones to put in. I am definetly set on the clown loaches. I bought a bunch of cheap feeder fish to run around it in it to keep me entertained. Hopefully they help start the bacteria on top of the TLC I put in it...
