They check me for doing absolutley nothing wrong. You have some pretty lax fish cops. At least the "1" that you have seen. Around here they hide out in the woods and just sit. In boats they flash the lights and pull you over like your in a car. It could be because I live on one of the best fisheries on the planet. Some of the actual rangers and cops are nice, but the deputies that are trying to become fulltime employees are not fun to deal with. Even if you arn't doing anything wrong they feel the need to be "ball busters". I wouldn't even think of pulling an act like you did in our streams. My luck I'd turn around and a fish cop would be like "look at what we have here."
Keep pulling the risk if you want but please when your bass outgrows your tank either get a big tank, give it to a mfker that can house it, or if worse comes to worse to say kill it. DO NOT put it back where you found it and take a risk of contaminating the near by fishery.

I'm just trying to help him out. If he was by me he would be getting a ticket. Kids need to be educated too, why should I ignore the problem. Whats this site for anyway?, I am just stating some of the situations that happened to me and that you DO GET CHECKED! and IT IS ILLEGAL to take 1'' game fish from a fishery. Is it not?

and yea i got anough thell be in a 125 till pond or if to big rtc food chop it up get good use out of them but yea i got anough now so dont worry and never would i let go but my friend said if his softshell got to big he would let it go i just told him wow your and idiot and he acted like it would be no big deal but he does not know there could be a epedemic or whatever.
 
theyre everywhere that size
ive been catching em and selling em to friends lol
i have a few now
they readily eat bloodworms and guppies
keep em on those until he gets a little bigger
