Got a new fish today! Need help on ID

so how much was the LFS selling this "ultra rare Flowerhorn"?

35 with a 25% off on saturdays.

so it was a steal even if it's a "pink convict".


hmmm any other guess?

Damn thats a monster convict but I would be willing to say its some hybrid like midas and convict .
Looks cool though

ya i'll totally say it's a hybrid of some sort. I just can't believe it being 100% pure convict.

thats not a hybrid or a midas its a marble convict.

its NOT a Convict. Ive seen tons of em, even big ones, and they were Kokless.
im going with a Midas Cichlid

Definitely a pure convict. My LFS had a pair. They don't get the bump for a long time, so that is an older fish.

So i went to my LFS and seen this tank and the fishes inside are called "ultra rare white flowerhorn"

and i seen this one fish being bullied by the others and i just fell in love with it and bought it...

there is no way this is a flowerhorn... help me ID please

Don't get convicts wrong...they can grow pretty nice size KOK. I know it's not a midas...I'm 100% sure it's a male pink convict.
Other than that he looks beautiful and nice pick up.

It's too big to be a convict. I've had pink ones...and my biggest one was 4 inches and not as thick as this one

The fish is close to 4-5 inches. very thick

A fish with severe brain hemorrhaging....lol

Convicts can max at 6" if given proper care...I'm pretty sure it's a "Pink Convict."
