Got a new fish today! Need help on ID

I'm thinking hybrid. I had a HUGE pink con male for like 7 years at almost 6.5 inches and he NEVER crew anything close to a kok like that. Plus the mouth looks a little off too.

Nice fish either way though.

its NOT a Convict. Ive seen tons of em, even big ones, and they were Kokless.
im going with a Midas Cichlid

Cichlids do not get a KOK, they get a nauchal hump. I have seen 100 convicts with large nauchal humps. This is 100% a pink convict. You should be happy that's a con, finding them that size is pretty rare.

He has the convict with the largest NAUCHAL HUMP on mfk then
That is not a midas.

i had one which had a nice KOK, right untill my jardini decided to eat the female convict and kill the male LOL

check out the small black markings near the eyes

thats not a hybrid or a midas its a marble convict.

X3 for marble con. Find him a marble female and the offspring will have even better marbling. I would kill for a con line that grew that kind of nuchal!
