Got a new fish today! Need help on ID

come on guys really? i think it's pretty darn obviously that's an old pink convict. :screwy:

midas? really? no midas got a face like that.
 
Damn nice pink con! As far as the kok comments and hybrid comments and midas comments....cmon guys you obviously know nothing about the fish you keep and are so quick to label something you have no idea about as a hybrid simply because in you're vast years of fish keeping have never seen what a full grown convict looks like....

Learn something before you jump to conclusions

and please for the love of god stay away from the term "kok" when describing non flowerhorn origin cichlids......

Yeah, please send some updates if possible - I was checking your thread with the new DSLR & you should snap some pics of this amazing fish.

I would love to update you guys but he actually died 4 weeks after i snapped those pictures. My guess would be of old age. He wasn't harrassed at all since the other fishes were actually scared of him. He just hid under a driftwood and didn't come out for days and just died 2 days after. I wanted to get one more from the LFS but i was scared that they're just too old.
