Wait.. BOTH .40 AND shotgun rounds???
Jeez.. that gun will be super for a backup in a zombie invasion!!!!! :nilly:

Very nice gun.... kind of remind me of a .357 magnum.. but shorter barrel..

My dad bought one of these, its pretty sweet, he took it shooting once, I havent gotten to shoot it yet, its hard to find a spot to shoot without cops shooing you out here.

No, it shoots a .410 shotgun shells and .45 Long Colt.

ya.. i had to google it to find out more about the gun... still nice tho.. its like having a concealable hand cannon... ;)

Well the day we got ours myself and my dad where blowing up sporting clays and boards with it. At 20 yrds. We where able to blow a 2"x16" board in to slivers! And if you want to watch a Video that you will piss your pants while watching, Googl: why talibans throw rocks, A bunch of segemts of people shooting a .457 T-Rex.

its a neat gun for sure.... but pure rubbish for anything other than point blank use (as far as the whole 410 thing goes) which will never happen since its way huge/heavy to carry concealed... every shop around here has several used ones collecting dust...

A question for you pistol guys....I'm going to be caribou hunting in bear country, buddies tell me not to go without a sidearm. I was thinking a bull dog .44 would be small / compact enough to lug around with some solid stopping power. What would take with you?

id go for a semi auto pistol... the largest caliber you can get your hands on.. hollow point with an extra clip.... bears dont go down when they are hurt.. they go down when they are dead.. as for small and compact... yer caribou hunting not running track... size/weight prettymuch go out the window..

TT-33 or CZ-52 in 7.62x25. would be my choice but then it pretty much always is. Exception being the Side arm I carry for Boar hunting as last ditch Take down at close quarters. A 1895 Nagant Target revolver loaded with 135 grain solid Hollowpoint Wadcutter bullets. These have a massive trauma effect that will quickly punch through the toughest skin and bone. Anyone whom has hunted boar will get this Load choice quickly. Unfortunately these type loads are Handloaded only and made individually. No Factory equivalent exists.

If your Caribou hunting in Bear country though, I'd think (Or hope) you'd already have a pretty good rifle on hand with some selection of Ammunition that will be effective on the more dangerous as well as you query. Choice of side arm or back up is a matter of choice in this case. If your in that open of country your rifle should be your first choice.

Thanks for the reco's guys. I will obviously have my browning rifle for the caribou..the hangun is for unexpected close encounters...like in my tent. I'm leaning towards a revolver to eliminate the "Jam" factor. My local gunshop is recommending a .357 or .44. Btw, they had 4 used Taurus Judge pistols for sale.
