Got a new gun today

Have you actually shot this gun, or are you just going off of the bad rap? Get one and shoot some 000 buck or maybe some hollow point 45lc, then let me know if it wouldn't do much to an intruder. I totally disagree that this gun is not useful. Not practical? You're right, not practical in a lot of applications. BTW, it is not my only firearm, and I did not get it for the sole purpose of self defense.

I have shot one and put about 30 rounds down the bore before concluding it was not a very good weapon. I'm not going by peer reviews. I think if you where to experiment some and specifically reload for it that some potentiality exists. Otherwise is is a poorly designed firearm. I would not choose this as a self defense firearm or as backup. it is not a very well made weapon and it has minimal use. I would never consider this gun for open or concealed use or for home use. It is totally inadequate..

It is fun to play with and shoot but it has little use beyond that.

I have never heard anyone say it is poorly made. Why do you claim it is poorly made? Anyways, the fact that you are crticizing it is fine with me since you have actually used it. A lot of people tend to just go off of what they have heard from others.

I do not not like the lock up and trigger pull that is my biggest gripe on it's manufacturing alone. Lack of consistency with factory loads was also an issue. Granted it could have just been the one I tested but I was very unhappy with the action and how it preformed. I think I'm repeating this but I think the gun is just not well suited for factory ammo. Handloading may make it better. Me personally though I was just not impressed all that much. It is a fun gun but in My personal experience it would not in any way replace my tried a proven favorites when it came down to it.

What sort of rifling does it have to be able to fire a .45LR and shotgun shell?
