  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
G sharky,

You need to use a flat head to pop up the blue button. I just got my Jager and it works great or you could just turn the dial +/- 5 degrees.

I actually did, but it wouldn't stop heating to the right temp that I set it on, the pilot lights turns on all the time...good thing that it was only 200 W and my tank is 120 gallon or my fish would've gotten fried cause the temp doesn't heat past 32 degrees celcius....I use to have the old ebo jager and I never had a problem with it...maybe i just had bad luck when I purchase this one...

If its less then 3y old, id contact Eheim for a new one. They come with a 3y warranty.

Eheim is known as top of the line aquarium products.

I have never had an overheating issue with my Stealth heaters.

I have used 75w, 2 x 200w, 2 x 250, and 1 x 300w...

In fact they all still work fine except one 200w that died randomly recently. It just won't turn on anymore.

I jinxed myself with this post. The new 300w I just got from Dr. Foster Smith just died. So that sucks. I will try another one now I think, perhaps one really large one instead of numerous small ones.

The 300w is throwing stray voltage into the water even when dead, I could feel it. I can also feel a tiny bit in my tank so I think one of the other 3 stealths in it may be messed up too... It made a kind of sizzling noise when it would turn on these last couple days but I thought it was normal because it was a pretty big heater, guess not.

I'll be emailing Dr. Foster Smith for a return and hopefully a credit towards something else because they don't sell anything larger than 500w.

Go with Jager, fluval or rena. If you must do stealth, id recomend the pro.
