still no gold on tail? or same body shape? or spangle on the dorsal fins?
Differences: Body shape for sure, body color, bar shape, gold coloration, eye coloration, ect.

The gold on tail is what most peacock bass, especially monoculus get. I see the body shape and bar shape of monoculus.
Again, who did you get them from?

agree^ ive seen TONS OF bahia, even really low quality ones!
Notice my previous POST stated PECTORAL spangling NOT ANAL,
huge difference, anal spangling develops over time, but with bahia pectoral at even 2 inches appears and so does tail spangling.
You have Monos or occels bro

He said pectoral fins, which are neither the dorsal fin or the tail (called the caudal fin.)

WoW so many experts in this thread... Just let the kid enjoy his pbass. No need to talk down on what he's got or what he may be excited about. Just like the title says " just got back into cichla "!! Kelberi or not.. It look stunning too me! Plus @ such a juvenile stage all cichla look the same IMO. Just my 2cents.
