just a cut wheel. Although to initially rip all of down before adding detail, a flap wheel would have been much quicker.

They look bloody awesome. Great work guys. Much nicer than just plain pvc pipes
Played around with another today. I known back when I use to breed BNP's they always liked to breed in the breeder bells where the end was closed off, so I heated/pinched the end shut on this one and then sealed it with a wood burning spade bit.
Wow guys, these are really cool! What a great way to save some $$! PVC is a hell of a lot cheaper than the fake logs the pet shops sell, and if I'm being honest, I think these look nicer too.

I'm just glad you got me motivated to play around with this because I finally have a use for all these small pvc sections I have layin around. I run a custom fly rod business and I ship all my rods to my customers in pvc tubes for protection during shipping. So needless to say I have tons of 6" to 2' long sections of pvc left over that I have had no use for....until now lol
Soon as I get some more time I want to do one with a Y piece of pvc where there are two opening on one end. I think that would be neat.
This thread is great. Like the idea. Might have to try this and see if I can get a decent looking pipe for my crenicichla. They love PVC but I can't stand having it in my tank, this might make it do-able.
