right now it has a coral beauty a volitan lion a small snowflake eel and a yelllow tang. also a few crabs and snails
its not as bright as it should be bc a few of the PCs are out but thats getting fixed soon.
also getting more live rock and switching stock. getting rid of the lion and maybe the coral beauty. goin to get alot of smaller fish.
i almost bought an octopus for this tank. but its so small it would for sure get out :(

Very nice.

Just throwing this out there, but I am sure that the snowflake will get those crabs and snails as soon as he gets bigger.

Congrats on the new tank. How did the move go?

hey chloe, yes they do! he will be goin to a better home hopefully. either the lfs or a buyer around around here.
n im not worried about the crabs, they are good size.
the move went real smooth actually. we started at about 6:45 and it was in my place and setup by about 9 or 10. that with getting everythin put away. it came with ALOT of stuff! the entire stand is full of bottle and jars.

Good to hear there were no major snags.

The lion is a cute little guy, too bad you will have to get rid of him.

yea. the hardest part was getting the tank with sand and 4 in of water in it into my place. it was one heavy mofo. and my friend almost getting stuck by the lion haha
he is not so small. he is about 8 in long

I'd suggest AGAINST getting an octopus. As cool as they are, they shouldn't be held in captivity. I've heard they won't live longer than 10-123 months. Just what I heard...

I have heard that as well. There are just somethings that dont belong in an aqaurium, and I feel like cephlapods are one of them.

I guess he is lucky he didnt get stung. My LFS says it will make a grown man cry, while others say its like a bee sting.

well gee which is it 10months or 123? lol

like most things it's about your skill and if you're really interesed in keeping them you need to hit the library, maybe take a marine bio class at your local college and consult with those who keep them now.

then you'll be more in a position to keep one.

lol, sorry, 12 months. I'm not looking to keep one, I have enough different species. I was just mentioning what I heard.
