thats my plan but they will only give me 40 for him :( i would rather sell him to someone i know has a suitable tank and adequate experience to care for him and maybe get a little more for him.

Yea, that is a bit of a lowball for his size, because you know they would turn around and push to get 110 for him.

yea exactly. they even said they usually buy stuff for half. im goin to see if i can get more if i just trade for other fish and corals

Prolly not. Just post your fish up on craigslist, or look for a san antonia marine aquarium society. A lot of those guys are reefers, but a few would be interested in a lion.

i put him on cl but nothin yet. i know alot of the lfs owners so i can prob get a little more. especially knowing how much i have spent at a few of them and how much i will spend with this new tank.

Looks good. The volitan will soon become one of your favorite pet fish ever. Mine was quick to eat from my hand and become super friendly.

If I was your pet volitan, i would have stung you >.>

Octopus grow fast...big young. They are best kept by themselves away from fish that may stress them out. Need to be away from crustaceans....except for food.

Best by it's self, great filtration, 75 gallon or larger and word from the wise away from doors because if something was to move suddenly by the tank they may get startled and release ink. Ink can and will make an ammonia spike in the matter of seconds!

he oh trust me he is. im having second thoughts of gettin rid of him.
im thinkin maybe go with a reef predator tank. but i already have my 120 for preds.
i reallly want this tank to just be really beautiful with alot of small stuff to appreciate.
but the thought of a tank with the volitan a nice eel and a big angler fish is creeping into my mind :D
decisions decisions

I wouldnt mind doing an angler either, but they are hard to get locally and I dont know that I want to chance doing a mail order. Maybe I will set up a third tank to do an angler...
