Got my New Tenecor 400 ... BUT

Well, I'm 5 weeks into a new 300g Tenecor tank/complete system order (5-6 week schedule), so this doesn't give me a warm, fuzzy feeling about the schedule being met.

Good luck on getting the replacement....soon.
 
;) WOW!! Had to go back to the beginning but read all & sorry for your nitemare. I too have a TENECORE tank although a bit smaller. My experience was much different 4 years ago. Customer sevice, although somewhat reluctant, was extremely accomidating when I threatened to cancel the sale because the order was incomplete. The tank, stand & hood were 'super-crated' & in excellent condition upon delivery inspection. I refused to sign acceptance because the lids were missing. Minor, I know, but still I paid good money for a COMPLETE SET-UP & wanted nothing less. I was amped to the tenth degree after waiting all this time. The serv. rep. assured me it was their error & the remedy was to overnite the lids to me along w/ $100 worth of acrylic cleaning products. I agreed & signed for acceptance. Things are bound to go wrong with anything, no matter how good the reputation. I am very surprised they have refused to rectify your situation. Stopping the payment is a good start but continued persistance will be required. Legal intervention might be necessary. Stick to your guns. They dropped the ball. Best of luck & keep us updated. "T"

Regal - Depending on how long your tank is , I expect your tank will not come on that schedule as they have told me they are probably 2 months behind right now. They havent found a replacement source for long acrylic sheets until just recently

wow... Is there any way you can cancel this entirely and go with another reputable place? Sounds like you might get it quicker.:nilly:

So are they replacing it or not? :irked:
 
We'll see, the owner has been personally handling this case , and wants to keep my business. But i dont consider it to be replaced until it actually shows up at my door.
He says that they will have new 10ft sheets next week and that they can have it done and sent by july 9th.

wow just read the whole thread.. and i jsut gotta say

keep on their arses.. u paid big money for the tank and it should come to you in mint condition
