i think thats normal! i always fill up past the glass anyways. thats whats its for! besides, if you look from the inside, youll see that the glass goes past the plastic rim inside; it doesnt stop at the rim.

that's not quite like the 75 gal corner tank i bought.. that turned out to be a 45 gal. still only paid $100 for it, the stand, 1 flowerhorn and a BIG pleco. so it wasn't a bad deal, but it's also not what i thought i was getting either.

if you wanna do it without a conversion calculator, its as follows:

- if measuring in inches: (LxWxH) / 231

- if measuring in feet: (LxWxH) x 7.48

Because the tank doesn't have a top and a bottom center bracelet...
