Sorry about the ick, but any updates? Is he doing better?
nope he died yesterday night poor guy
the mollies wouldn't leave him alone and his fins clumped up he was breathing heavy i had to put him out of his misery
i feel like travis from Old Yeller(anyone remember that movie)
i'm gonna tare down the tank when i get better
i'm sick right now my granparents were sick and i was taking care of them and caught it no good deed goes unpunished plus i'm allergic to most anti-biotics so i have to suffer
anyway the 55 only has 2 mollies in it right now so i'm gonna tare down the whole tank when i move it
change the filters, scalde or throw away the gravel, scalde the tank, the whole 9 yeards,
i know the tank will have to cycle again but it only has the 2 mollies in it so i think it'll be ok
i hate being sick i know it sounds strange but i do 10-20 percent water changes every other day on my tanks i kinda look forward to it but being sick drains all my energy i feel like i'm neglecting my furry/finned/featherd/ferocious family
my grandpa is taking care of the 50+pigeons,duck,25 chickens,8 dogs,2 cats, parakeet, and 2 rabbits until i feel better but it still sucks cause i love taking care of them.:irked:
i'm moving the 55 into my room i can barly fit anymore tanks in here as is i have 3 10 galoons and 2 1 gallons in my 8x10 bedroom plus my queen sized bed,computer,tv,dresser/make up studio, before long i'll be sleeping in the tanks lol
plus i have to move 2 more 1 gallon betta bowls in here and a 20 gallon tank
i'm thinking of turning my basement into a fish room but "out of site out of mind" i only go down there maybe 3 times a week to do laundry and humidity is bad like my 20 gallon was half empty after a month down there
plus i like having my tanks in my bedroom cause that means i don't have to leave my sanctuary except to feed the outdoor pets otherwise i chill in my room and watch Carnivale all day
umm i may move the mollies to a 10 gallon tank i was hoping they would breed but they haven't
i'm thinking about putting a small oscar in the 20 gallon to grow him out and getting a dewarf puffer for the 5 gallon and puting the bp in a larger tank
i haved lots of work to do but i'm sick so the updates might be a little slow sorry

hey ... theres an idea... Aquarium Bed... :D hehe Sorry to hear about your fish

it sounds like your living on a farm with all those pets around there...

yeah 3 acrers and 2 10x30 foot barns it's pretty kewl
i love my fish alot though it really hurts when they die:cry:

I've been thinking about Discus but i'm not sure
i mean i want it to look good cause it's in my bed room
i thought about a monster but some(sissy, split tail)gjuys think its a turn off when the fish eat eachother or it freaks them out especially paranna
the coffin shaped tank stil needs some finishing touches i've got the wood cut but i'm still looking for epoxy and i need a piece of glaas i want the top to have a glass panel sorta Snow White's coffin kinda thing and it's hard finding anyone who can deal with things for aquariums my town has a population of about 500 its tiny so we don't have much
i'm thinking of doing Discus in the 55 gallon and doing a glas fish tank with ghost shrinp and ghost/glass catfish in the 20 gallon with black light to make them glow
and my 1 black molly will go in with them he's the only survivor of the ick out break

yeah i know discus are hard to take care of but i do water changes every other day anyway so it shoul;dn't be that different
i thought about doing 25%-30% every other day does that sound ok?
i've herd 50% twice a week but that sounds stressful to the fish
i thought about 6 for the 55 gallon
my only thing is i don't want to breed them so is it safe to put 6 in therer but not breed them of will they pair off and kill eachother?
