Look at it from a breeding standpoint...... Fair market value on a NICE Marble is what? If that $2K dollar ray is the father of 2 big litters then doesn't it pay for itself?

Hi everyone,
my name is Richard Hardwick from Sheffield England, this is my first post on monsterfishkeepers and i must say its a great site with numerous very knowledgable people all expressing their views.I have to say im intrigued by this sudden interest in Marble motoros, ive got a long established pair of these fish that im pleased to say have reproduced for me twice and the female is currently gravid and half way through gestation.I have personally kept Leos,Henlei,Otorongos,True Hystrix,Yepezi ,Orbignyi Pearls and Constallata but have to say my all time favourites are my Royal king chainlink motoros, have a look guys and give me your thoughts and opinions on them.I will send the photos when ive sussed out how its done on here. I have to say i have been very impressed by some of the latest pictures posted of these MM on here,Big Dave,i particularly like yours, great looking fish.
Regards,
Richard.

I just could not justify it (for me). When I see vendors like Aquascape bringing them in and
selling for 225.00 and Pat starting his breeding program of marbles, and knowing he will charge
no where near that, H2O isn't close to that either.
And with my luck buy the time they bred and I could sell the craze would die down. Ha Ha

Pedro is selling some nice marbles but I would classify them as average, maybe alittle more at best. For the price though, they ROCK! :headbang2

I am talking about stellar, rarely seen MMs.

If you call that AA then there is NO such thing as AAA.

Where did it come from if you don't mind sharing?

VERY nice ray. You are NOT the only one that can justify spending that on that quality of Marble.

Aquaman45 those are unbelievable.

Would you mind sharing with us what a ray of that quality cost you?

the female recently came from another member here..the male is quite a story..(he came from a vendor on here, whom shall remain nameless unless he wants to take credit,it wasnt mike)he was as plain and drab as you can ever imagine and in 6 months he sprout like a butterfly..i have 2 others 1m1f that look exactly like he did at their size..i have my fingers crossed that they turn out anything like him..
