Pedro is selling some nice marbles but I would classify them as average, maybe alittle more at best. For the price though, they ROCK! :headbang2

I am talking about stellar, rarely seen MMs.

I would tend to agree with this, for now but who is to say as they mature.

Also if I am remembering correctly ( correct me if I am wrong) you have
said on a number of occasions that you have noticed that two average
wild specimens are producing exceptional pups in Captive Breeding.
So by this theory, given quality food and conditions, who is to say that
two of these specimens won't do the same. Just some food for thought.;)

But like you said for 225 they do ROCK.

By that size you can tell an exceptional marble from an average one. Dont get me wrong they look GREAT but nothing like the nice one I had or some of the ones posted up in this thread.

It seems like rays have become more of a collectable item than a pet, with all these fads etc

Maybe for some but many of us have had these rays for years....

I know, not implying that members do. It just seems like its starting to.

its been like that for ever Bruce in all walk's of life, but in the fish trade in the U.K. there has allways been a new "fad", everything from Tig's, MBU Puffers, Blue eyed pleco's etc etc..... but like Gr8 said some of us have had rays for years and will have them for years to come.

Yeah... Im hoping to keep all my current stock for as long as possible.

Thanks Mrs Kitty, like i said ive had these rays for about 8 years now and they have so far produced 3 pups,a male and female the first time and a single male the second time, shes pregnant as we speak and quite a size to say she is barely half way through gestation.I have a single male Pearl Ray,love the Pearls too,but have to say that some of the Quality Marbles showing up on this site can hold their own in the company of even the nicest of the black rays, theres little wonder they are causing such interest.
Thanks again for the acknowledgment.
