grammodes update

Those two would have some perrty babies...balton that convict is huge!!!! He's handsome too. I love big nasty mean convicts because there aren't many fish that would come out of a fight on the up side with a 6"+ male con with bulk like that.

Last time I checked with Cy, he was only getting rid of a few males. Maybe I could convince him to let me "borrow" a female for a while ;). At the same time, I'm not sure I wanna slow down his growth by breeding.

LOVE these fish i passed up the opertunity to get a little 1.5'' for $10 and am still kicking my self for it

yours looks great by the way and its growing pretty fast as far as grammodes go

Ha! He gets fed twice daily with a mixture of Hikari Gold pellets, freeze dried bloodworms, and the occasional earth worm. He's housed alone, and I plan on keeping it that way. That way he doesn't have to compete for food and more importantly, no risk of getting killed or injured by other fish.

Yeah they would make pretty babies but it would take years to grow them out lol. The convict is a bad mofo,so much so that he's now in his own tank.

Good call on not breeding him. You can always breed him later after some more size.
 
If he's too shy for you, throw some tetras in with him, like serpae or black phantoms, something too big to swallowand that can't mess him up. Having other fish in with my grammodes made them much less shy.
