Anyone have tips for taken high quality pics...use flash. turn off lights in tank? and use flash? Just thought maybe youve been thru that already so thought id ask
a dim light would darken the background, and track fish movement.

Edit: Sorry, the picture you posted is a cyano real texas, but it looks nice.

I should have cleaned the tank first the water gets real clear and its not right now.
i recommend you to place a slate or flowerpot next to the divider on salvini's side.

I always heard that the Salvini was a mean fish. do you think that with out the divider he could hold his own in the tank if i remove the 6 gouriams from the tank or will that tex will be out to kill. Even before the divider went up the salvini although chassed alot was never hurt or bit by the tex. I thought that the stress would kill him though so i put the divider in. You know what though the Salvini colors were brighter, alot of red on the belly before the divider went in.

yeah i mean Sals are really tough fish, its just since hes smaller and its a small tank he doesnt have much room to get away if he needs to. once you get rid of the gouramis you can try taking it out again, just make sure to watch closely and divide them again if needed. there will be some fighting especially when you first put them back together as they will need to sort out the tank hierarchy, but if it becomes excessive then youll probably need to keep them separated until you get a bigger tank
