(YES) I'm sorry I'm done updating this thread, but All good things come to an end.
Now that I have a couple of larger grow out tanks coming (The 120G & 240G) I may eventually venture into the shipping of these babies. I'll open a thread if I do.
As for right now I am taking around 40+ from the second spawn to my lfs to help me pay for the new tanks.
I'm always busy with my JD projects & if I find time in my schedule I may open a new thread.

Bravo! Amazing work by both of you. Takes a lot of dedication and the updates were excellent keeping people here up to date on your projects. I've successfully bred my Gold Jd's here on long island quite a few times. Sold the offspring to a few LFS here on Long Island. One of which and a rather large store told me they wouldnt purchase them because there is no such thing as Gold Jack Dempseys and that they were an African Cichlid hybrid, lol. Well his competitor down the road couldn't keep them in stock they flew out so quick. When I started attempting Ebjd X Gjd I couldn't they were all infertile. Later I was successful with a spawn of Gjd x Bgjd. Unfortunately Dad wasn't such a great parent.
Took a year off from it, but I think I am going to jump back in it again. Would be interested in any of your fish were for sale.

Amazing work. I read over the thread, but didn't see if you answered it already but, how long have you been working on this project?
This is facinating. I have been trying to raise some EBJDs for awhile now and cant seem to get them to breed. Any secrets ?
