Ok lol i shall buy the nitrate and ammoia remover tomorrow and the salt as well, best i can do at the moment. thanks for the help :)

Really if your tank has only been set up for 2 weeks your filter is not cycled so you shouldnt have fish in the tank yet. (Yes you can cycle a tank with fish but it puts the fish under stress and at risk). You will have ammonia and/or nitrites, both of which will stop the fish eating and keep it stressed.

You need ammonia and nitrite test kits, and you need to do water changes to keep both of these as low as possible until the filter has matured, which will take a few weeks.

It is common for new fish in strange surroundings to be afraid of people, and not eating could be caused by this, or the ammonia or nitrites.

nitrate and ammoia remover
Why would you starve the very bacteria you are trying to cultivate? If you remove their ammonia, the they will die off and your tank will never finish cycling. And nitrates are best removed by water changes. Chemicals are bad, mmkay?

completely agree, i would do water changes instead of chemicals, or if you have a dirty filter from another tank, rinse it off in the tank(instant cycle).
