Green Terror or Red Devil...

I'm looking for personality for a wet pet...
Who wins?

I may get a Blood Parrot with the Green Terror.

Thanks :)

Rd or Midas imo. GT are cool to but for a wet pet gotta be amphilophus genus or fh tho.

Green Terrors have as much personality as a red devil, and will hit the glass just as hard. I have both and they go nuts when your near their tanks and both will bite hands if you don't watch out. GT can go in a smaller tank. If you've got a 75 you could get either. If you don't have a 75, get the GT. In all honesty the only difference between the two is size and color.

I agree with this also because my female literally just bit me when i got near her fry. I love my GTs , I have 2 young adults, and 2 juveniles, but none are as interactive as my oscar. Every fish is different though, im sure there are some GT's out there that will let you pet them...or maybe not.

Great answers! Thank you.
I really wanted a Green Terror originally.
Although I am looking for max personality, I think I will go for the green terror (and Blood Parrot) as my LFS has a beauty in there.
Flowerhorns are cool but personal preference is theyre a bit ugly when they get older.
Love the look of the Midas but will probs get one for my next tank.

What do you think of 2 x blood parrots with the Green Terror and some Giant Danios.? I know I'm pushing the limits but could it just about work in your opinion.?

What size tank? If it’s big enough the cichlids may work. The danios may start to disappear , or be left alone.

My tank is 63 US Gallons / 240l
Dimensions: 47.6" x 16.1" x 21.7" (4foot long and wider that a 55gal)
Water parameters: PH = 8.2 , GH = 21

Territory wise, it's a bit small to add the 2 blood parrots if you are planning on keeping the GT and parrots for life (10+ years). Just make sure the giant danios are too large to be eaten when you get them. A school of 12+ is more impressive than merely 6.

Yes, they will be for life.
Will probably settle for one then.

Defitately agree with that!

I will most likely upgrade the tank but not sure when so not worth risking at this stage.

What about a catfish like a Raphael or Bristlenose to pick up all the wasted food?... ... Or am I defeating the idea of a 'wet pet' setup?
