That is mainly what I am concerned about, I don't care if they grow to the absolute maximum possible size a discus can attain, but I know they are easy to stunt.

In a nutshell, meaty foods create a shed load of waste, by removing the waste load from the tank, creates the best water conditions hence the extreme water changes. With a bare bottom tank it's make removing the waste so easy, substrate is a pain for this, bare bottom is a piece of urine when it comes to removing this.s15240drifter;1849436; said:what does a bare bottom do for discus

Get a heart, trim all the veins skin if you can call it that, tubes etc. mix it up in a blender, add 12oz spinach, 1 banana, a hand full of high protein pellets, another hand full of flake(binder), 5 or six crushed multi vitamins, 6 or so cloves of garlic, a couple of spriluna tabs and a sprinkling of prapika and your good to go![]()
