EXACTLY! 1300cc that you can't use to its full potential. Don't get me wrong, they are SICK bikes, but why? Same with the 750's and 1000's, can't use it, why have it?
because i am 6'2 and 200 lbs .. and a 600 feels like a toy under me .. i feel top heavy and like a man on a bmx bike .. the 1000 is just right .. had a CBR1100XX it was a 1100cc bike but felt great .. not a quick as the 600 but it was all about the feel of the bike for me .. but now i have a road bike my fast days are over

I've done all the numbers for months now, this isn't just a on a wim thing, I have wanted a bike since before I even had my regular drivers license. Now that I am a bit older, and a bit more "mature" I guess you could say, it would be a bit safer for me to get one. Back when I was 16 or 17, no way would I get on one, would kill myself. My parents and I have been talking about this idly for a while probably about 6 months, and now that things are wrapping up with legal work for the trust, it is going a bit farther, and we are starting to look into getting one for me.

i have ridden them all, r6 is excellent cant go wrong, suzuki paid a lot of money for riders on race day and a lot more on research and development, dont get sucked in on that 69 a mo. 24 mo. thing i finance bikes, atvs, pwc the 25 th month will have you wetting yourself. after all it is a visa card. r6 is more nimble in the turns, smoother on throttle, gsxr is better for the stunts, wheelies

Busa's are cool, but totally unnecessary. Most guys that get them are compromising for something else, if you get my drift...

whatever mate . i have a busa with the same wheelbase as gxer 1000. its a street fighter turbo with over 300 hp i dont have it to compromise for anything i have it for the thrill of going past speeds your little bike could only dream of going.infact a busa could wheel spin past a 600 ..and about a gxer or r6. ... i would save a bit more cash and go for one of the 1000. i know its your first big bike but it will only go as fast as you want it to. there is know point in going for a 600 catching the bike bug then want something bigger/. more cash good luck with what ever you do:grinno:

I'm not into the stunts at all, wheelies are cool, but I have no desire to ride one past 45-50 mph. Stunting is a great way to lose your skin, and total a bike.

even then you flam the busa or should i say busa riders . have you even had a go on one. there not a racing bike there a sport touring bike. there just as happy at slow speeds as going fast. and they do them better then any 600.

How am I flaming the Busa or Busa rider's by saying I don't care for stunting?

It is good sir, but if you think about it, 1300cc is a bit much. I agree that they are sick bikes, but most people get them for the wrong reasons.

ok this thread is going from R6 vs Gsx to a witch hunt on whos talkin smack about busa's.. who cares a persons opinion is there opinion... he wants to kno bout which bike is better side comments and opions are fine but stop the arguing , some of you guys own busa's and like em.. congrats now help him choose between the 2 bikes he asked about and stop turning this into the hayabusa defense orginization..
