Based on those pictures I'd say the first one is a female, and the second is a male. They both look promising.
 
i just would like to say i love this thread for two days i went from page one to page 58 i love the GT and have always wanted one but i cant really find any around here i bought four babys from a breeder for a dollar a peice bought them really really small practally fry and they have just about tripled in size but still fairly small i tank them with 7 convict babys just about the same size,i plan on getting a 55 gallon tank and just putting the 4 GTs in there and see how big they get these fish are truely beautiful but any pointers would be really appericated like what type of surrondings i should put in the tank what type of gravel anything to make them the most confortable

i have been feeding them,
cut up coctail shrimp
Omega one small cichlid pelletes and tetra flakes


also when i buy feeders for my oscars i usally pick out the smallest one or tow and i throw them in with the gts and the gts just demolish the feeders they attack hurt the enemy and just nibble at them

they eat 3 times aday and are always hungry
 
i have 3 gold and 2 daimond gold and i was wondering can i put them in together
i tried once but they kept on fighting each other
 
3 gold 2 diamond...what does that mean?
