and petsmart had needle nose gars for 12 bucks MAN THERE AWSOME!!! to bad im low on tank gallonage to get one

those aren't true gar, not even remotely related to them. They are close to impossible to get off of live foods and probably wouldn't do good with convicts anyway. (i had one that my oscar decided to attack, and convicts are worse then oscars for attacking fish imo)

damit, so thats outa the Q for my tank then as its only 12 inches maybe 12,5 inches wide. right now i have my filter off so the sand can settle.
