I love blue tongues but unfortunately the wife isn’t as keen as i am about them lol...

My wife is afraid of snakes so seeing a flick of that blue tongue would have her terrified. She was not afraid of a Mali Uromastyx I once had.

I decided to go bioactive with his enclosure Let me know how I did


2” drainage layer with egg crate to stop him from burrowing and then a 6” blend of sphagnum moss orchid bark and coco fiber with a colony of roughly 100 zebra isopods

that’s the face of a happy skink

The Masked Shadow Got them from a local store called Pet Paradise. They had quite the selection of isopods. Its a pretty cool store they had a green tree monitor display which was pretty cool

ya they are on my bucket list I want a breeding pair of mangrove or quince monitors
