Guess what I got!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
We were just kids, catching them and keeping them for summer, didnt really know what we were doing. But you are probably safer cracking the eggs first, if the lizard isnt used to them there may be a chance of choking. Its cool to watch them crunch them down though, they look like they enjoy doing it and its a nice protein source for them!
you could make a ton exporting them! Here in the US they sell for liked 300 bucks a pop

pretty sure that is illegal.
ya it very Illegal like go to jail for years and pay over 50 000$ dollars illegal

You guys are correct, its highly illegal.
There is a huge network of people who do it, not just lizards but snakes and parrots too. They get busted a lot and the death rate is very high so not many actually make it to their destination. Theres also a big market going the other way where people try to smuggle illegal animals into australia too.
You arent really allowed to catch them as pets either but its something all kids do when they are young, I doubt the police will arrest an 11 year old for having a blue tongue in the garden.

Mmmmmm Breakfast lol today catfood kiwi carrot and basil with a sideof earthworm and a calcium powder dressing is on the menu. its carzy how fast these guys grow 2-3"per month if fed well Irwin is pushing 16" already I will get picks of himlater as he is grumpy because he just finished shedding. He is tame and great to handle now after a little work he never tried to bite but would try to run so now he is good to just sit with me on the couch. The indos are a little harder to tame then the Australian locals but they have more slender bodies and longer tails with merauke blue tongues getting 30" Irwin will most likely reach 24-26 based on how fast he is growing and what he is eating but their is always a possibility he is smaller or larger than thatIMG-0079.jpg
