yes. they do brumate but from what I understand not as long as tegus only 1-2 months I think dont qoute me on that though

Ya Tegus sleep for a couple months, come up for a drink and goes back down for a couple more. That was another sorta turn off, not seeing your animal for a couple months I would think is a bit unnerving. Wondering if the critter is alive under a foot of dirt,leaves etc. How do they breathe down there. I know the metabolism slows way down like a breath a minute but..... so odd.

yes they are pretty cool I plan on keeping the temp the same and hoping he does not brumate but we will see

I heard that in the first year its ok not to brumate but there after its not good for them not to. I would do some research for the skink to be sure.
