Gun people! I need a shotgun...

I like the shotgun b/c of the unmistakable sound it makes when cocked. If someone breaks into my house, and I cock it, they will know 100% what is in my hands.

or know 100% where you are located... my theory is if somebody breaks into my house i dont want them to know where i am or that i am armed....

here's my 870 with a few add-ons. before anybody says anything about the tacticool flash hider, its functional i swear!!! i have a longer mag tube that hold 7 rounds in it. it extended past the barrel about 2" and i didnt like the way it looked, so i added the flash hider to make the barrel look longer than the mag.

also, ive pretty much sold everything pictured on this gun in the last few days. its getting an extensive remodel. stay tuned for pics in the next few days

youll want a good flashlight with it as well. Look at the Surefire G2 Nitrolon. best flashlight youll get for the price (about $30). dedicated weapon lights usually run $200+. this light works great and can withstand the shock of a 12ga

and build that... very nice

and here's my choice for ammo. its gets fairly violent when you pull the trigger using 3" magum buckshot

NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER use a weapon as a form of intimidation. For one, in the time it takes for your to "scare" them with your weapon you could be dead.

If you pull a weapon, use it. Other wise you dont need it.

100% I would rather have the person piss his/her pants, and run out of my house, then for me to blow off their head. This is why I am choosing a shotgun, the sound and look is unmistakable.

read above for sound.... consider this... you cock it and they hear it... they have a gun and now know where you are... also what if the person comes back when it is just your wife/girlfriend.... lots of factors you need to consider...

agreed. I think a loaded remington 870 with blinding light under the bed is adequate enough for most people. Unless of course you're jcardona, who is attacked by hoardes of murderous thieves and assassins every night

I would suggest that you get a hand gun. Shotguns don't give you much of a ammo capacity. Get a pistol with atleast a 15 round magazine. But thats just my opinion.

with a pistol you just put a hole in them why not get a shotgun where you can blow there whole damn face off god damnit!!!


and a pistol does more damage to home goes through more walls and stuff shot gun stops quicker. and you dont have to worry about it goin to the neighbors house.
