im pretty sure an ak47 could take down any croc. gustave must just be lucky, although he has several bullet scars on his right side

Ask anyone who has ever Hunted Niles in Africa........It takes a larger catridge than .308. The soft spot is about the size of a small Orange on a large Croc, and it gets smaller as you go down in size......

Otherwise, you myswell try a slingshot, as they're both about as effective.......Wear a loin cloth too, just so everyone knows your serious.......

Yes, but the rebels r too busy with there money and mines to kill the croc's and the villagers cant afford guns to kill them.

They were more of a cheap gun that can with stand everything the army's m16's cant.... they are more durable and best suited for the rebel forces but the reason they work better is because they ddont get clogged like m16's

.308/7.62 is a fairly powerful if we're talking people and/or small-mid size game animals.......

However, the comparison would be about like a bike versus a car, and I'm sure everyone knows who wins that one......

Point is, big Crocs, or even small ones for that matter, who aren't tainted by Humans wont let you close enough for any of the mid-size Calibers to be any kind of effective.........It takes range and power to put one of these guys down........Even then, miss and you'll make a pretty hole, but won't kill the animal. I've rountinely seen Gators with old Gunshot wounds and they were no worse for wear. These things are built to survive, and alot of people under estimate that.......

sry man but no. I have an ak. i can assure u its powerful but not enough to take down a 20' nile. just compare a .270 cartrige to an ak round. ull see a huge dif right there. now go up for the .270 and eventually ull get inot the range needed.

Eric is right here. croc hunting isnt easy. These are IMO the ultimate in evolution. yes humans are smarter but physically we lose. Few animals can out match crocadillians. yes here and there a jaguar kills one but im sure the crocs take enough jag's to make up for it
