I wonder how big a .50 cal hole would be in a croc n if it would die right away or run then die or maybe if lucky survive...

You could kill a Tyrannosaurs Rex with a .50 cal so yes, if you placed the shot in the right area you would have no problem killing a croc with that caliber.

In district 9 when he was in the suit alien machine it was awsome especially the guy with the rifle shooting him WO thatt had to of hurt. Along with somkin aces in the hotel the girl shooting the gun while her friend was in the elevator. It tore the limbs right off those cops...

Thats not how its done........The Arrows ( notice the plural ) are used to tether the animal, it's pulled to the boat ( usually takes awhile ), then the animal is killed with a high Caliber Handgun or Bang Stick..........
