Guys who own pits and other big dogs, tell me more about this

Good grief that doesnt even look like a pit! look at the size of that head! lol.. i love pits, but that style of heavy dog doesnt even look much like a pit to me-its just too big. but, to each his own. It looks like it eats small children for breakfast lol..

i know its a bully pit-they are bred for their large size.. but i prefer the normal sized pits. sounds like a really sweet dog, and good that its great with kids-it would be a good tool to use to help ppl realize that pits are the monsters they are made out to be-but if loved and raised right are great companions.
 
nvygirl, I liked the fact that he was so great with the kids and I love the look of the big guy :)

when I say bully pit, I don't mean bulldog x pit. Bully pit is the term for pits that are deficient in myostatin allowing them to grow more muscle. Thats what another member on here mentioned. They are just bigger pits.

Good question, I remember seeing a tail, I think he had it tucked in or something??? I do wonder why it didn't show. Funny thing is, the dog was soooo excited with all the attention from females that his penis was out and showing LOL
