one lil goldfish left in here running for his life LOL.

Sorry for the video overload LOL. But it seems i read the same 3 things almost everyday on this board about armatus feeders will kill them, they cannot be kept with other armys and you need a public size aquarium with ridiculous amounts of current and i am finding these to be very very untrue. Then to think off all the things people over here go through like starving their fish and fishing in their tanks with dead food to get these fish off of live what is the point.

OP sorry if i derailed your post in any way but im happy u choose to raise multiple armys and cant wait to see the outcome.

I swear all of the videos like this from other countries have them in with tons of feeder goldfish. and they have the largest nicest looking predators.

JD7 - the trio looks great.

Im thinking the same thing. Mine have grown well over an inch in a little over two weeks now. However, the first one I got (middle one) is now the largest. This trip is MUCH more skittish then my first amartus which was a finger chaser very early on. These three wig out constantly. I actually keep the light on because with it off they see me easier and wig out more often. With the light on I think it puts a glare on the glass and they dont see me that easily.

They will grow out of it. Mine are already starting to greet me when they are hungry.

So is this the only difference between usa and asia keepers? That they arent afraid to keep them on live food? Maybe we should find a good alternative to goldfish. I could catch creek chubs, bluegills, etc

Jd you can feed yours just about any fish you can catch lol

For now. Once they get too big to eat the mosquito fish and occasional molly (we have sailfin mollies around here) I will have to feed them salt water fish. Which means they will be dead. However, I will have the ability to feed them as much as they can eat as they will be virtually free. During certain times of the year I could feed them live mullet as they will stay alive in freshwater for awhile but other then that it will be all dead stuff.

I will also have tons and tons of fish scraps to feed. Heck I already have so much snapper, tuna, flounder, grouper, cobia, amberjack, and mahi in the freezer I dont know what to do with!

The menhaden are starting to run and its possible to get 40lbs of them in just one net throw! I bet with your rays Trevor it would be nice to get 40lbs of fresh fish for free in ten minutes!
