Haitiensis Growth Thread

Got myself a small haitiensis. Its been two weeks and hes been doing good and eating well. I hope its a he, because sometimes it seems like there is a black blotch on the dorsal. Any guesses from the experts ?

I’ve seen females with a hump so I wouldn’t know. It looks like one of unbeekings Head Honcho Nasties. The thing I love about Haits is that the females carry pretty much the same physical and visual traits as the Males they’re just smaller and darker.

Whatever it is it’s going to be a beast once it’s big. What size aquarium is it in? Any tank mates?

Slight growth update. They’re growing slowly in the length side but are really putting on some girth as of late. It’s hard to gauge when you see them every day!!!!! Lol hope you enjoy the pics!!!!!
