We have wigglers!!!!!!! Can’t really tell how many right now because she has them tucked under one of the flower pots. She’s not really allowing the male to help out so I hope they get along ok
I knew something was up when I saw here fully jet black which I haven’t before. Hopefully the babies can graze on the algae in the tank until we get back from Florida for thanksgiving

Grabbed a quick video of the mom and kids. When I woke up this morning the fry were swimming more openly BUT he was taking swipes at the babies and fighting with Mom
Well a bit of terrible news. The pair bond broke and the male killed the fry and the female. It all happened while i was at work so I didn’t even have a chance to put in a divider or anything. I guess he’ll be a wetpet from this point forward. He’s made it clear that he doesn’t want company in his tank.
Yeah man but i know it comes with the territory. Im left with two. The other is in my spare 20 Gallon. I have to figure out what to do with it. I’m thinking it may be a male. I’ve seen it put on some nice fin growth since I’ve separated it from being terrorized and even gotten some nice coloration. It sucks because I saw your comment on YouTube (deepblack Aquatics) and then came home to that. He will be fine in there on his own
