Yeah I’m trying to remain positive about it. You know this hobby can be taxing at times. He’ll be fine tho. Might take the flower pots out now and just give him more room to roam
He already looks a stunning boy and he will only get better with age.
Jan. 2018 update. I woke and decided to do a big clean on his tank so I vac’d the sand, washed his bio media and vac’d out his sump. Of course this was the cause of much protest so he payed up against the glass long enough for me to get a measurement of him. He’s exactly 3 6/8” long from nose to tail. He’s put on some good growth over the past month or two as I’ve started feeding him twice/day. I was also able to snap a picture
