Get a H&K usp .45 that's top quality german steel and dependabilty but very costly to shoot .45's right now or any other cartridge other than a .22 H&K all the way there is no other brand.

I just got a 40 cal a few months ago and my dad carries a 45. you can blow a much bigger hole in a crack head with a 45.
And if your going to carry this for protection, i reccomment a 1911. You cant get a better protection piece and it looks good. dont skinp on ammo either. get some good quality hollow points so when you do need to shoot someone, they mushroom out making a bigger hole and spreading lead throughout their body.
a Glock is a good gun but ugly as hell. looks like a brick.
johnptc;1383250; said:they are all safe if you keep your finger off the trigger until your sights on on the target............many serious shooters pin the grip safety on the 1911 to prevent it from causing a malfunction with a hurried grip.
if you dont drill yourself on safety rules dont own a gun imo

She's to stay in the bedroom and call 911. If they come through the bedroom door she can assume theyre coming after her and light em up.

or this is good too!! it shoots .45 acp ammo or .410 shells!!!johnptc said:if you plan on using a shotgun inside a house remember that the pattern will be very small ( a few inches in diameter) and it needs to be aimed like a rifle.........ime use a deer barrel with iron sights

I have a double action S&W Model 28, .357 Mag. It has had a bit of custom work done to it and everything has been taken apart and polished. It has the smoothest trigger pull I have ever felt plus it is a fun, accurate gun to shoot.
