Has anyone seen one of these tanks?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My sump tank came today. It is very dark in my unfinished fish room and garage, and I couldn't move the tank under the one light we have rigged up (cement floor is primed and about to be finished) So had to take pics of the tank in the dark. It's a very sturdy tank

The window is 56" x 19" and is clear. The tank is dusty and dirty and still has some wrapping on it.

Temporary cat fish tank :)

I think it would make a great in-wall tank.

love the tank pacu mom bet it put a whole in your pocket though but like was said before it would be nice for a wall tank.

This tank is 36" tall. My husband had to climb in to get the cat out! Last coating went on the cement floor in the filtration room today, so we are getting really close to bringing the big tank home. This sump tank will sit on the floor behind the main tank, and the external overflow box of the main tank will drain into the sump. A Clarity CL-3 and one Ultima 4000 and one 120W UV sterilizer will be running off the sump. The rest of the filtration will be plumbed directly to the main tank. The plan is to put a wall in front of the main tank to make it an "in wall" tank.

and you will be showing us the new tank..right Pacu mom ?!!!! :nilly: :headbang2:grinno:

mmm! i think you can do it much cheaper as all it is is a big koi holding tank with a window

step (1)
get a koi holding tank
like this see how much cheaper it is
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KOI-QUARINTIN...den_PondsWaterFeatures_UK&hash=item335d4a2db7

step (2)
using a permanent marker mark out the square and measure it to the exact size of 1 inch smaller than your window all around

step (3)
cut along the marked lines so you cut out the appropriate sized hole for your window use a jigsaw or any other appropriate cutter

step (4)
turn the tank on its front so the hole you just cut is facing the ground and put a very big amount of aquarium safe silicone all around the edge of the cut hole very important the silicone should be on the inside of the tank as the glass will go through the inside so the pressure will hold the glass in with out leaking

step (5)
insert the glass agen remember the glass is going through the inside of the tank not on the out side when inserted leave for 48 hours

step (6)
after 48 hours of drying lift the tank up right and flat on the floor then apply a second layer of silicone on the out side of the glass remember be generous leave for another 24-48 hours and fill with water your done

SIMPLES :D

fully aquarium made silicone always states on the tube 48 hours i have a tube right in front of me now but it may depend on the brand as im in the UK not the us
