I read an article in Deisel Power magazine about a chevy with a twin turbo duramax that cranked out over 1,000 HP and 1,500 lb ft of torque and still got 21 MPG highway and ran 10's in the quartermile but to look at it you would think it just came off the showroom floor .

our stock dodge cummins gets 30 mpg empty on the highway. it get sfrom STL to SC in one tank of fuel ( 32 gallons )

but honestly people driving FEVs doesnt have anythin to do with fuel prices.
people think its demand. not really. its 90% bc of the sulfur content required by the gov. tree huggers are making everythin go to ultra low sulfur. thats why gas is getting closer to diesel again.
diesel went to ultra low a few years ago thats when it jumped so high and now gas is having to go to ultra low. it started at i think 20 ppm and now its down to 5ppm of sulfur. and the reason this makes fuel so pricey is that they have to remove the sulfur and since sulfur is a lubricant they have to buy and add a synthetic lubricant to all the fuel. and of course these sythetics arent nearly as good as the original sulfur. so its harder on our vehicles. so they have to pay twice for somethin that we could just be leaving alone.
tree huggers just need to leave everyone else alone and ride bikes if they really want to make a diff.

are you saying people who drive fuel efficient vehicles are right there with handicaped people and pregnant women? just bc you drive a diff car gives you no more right than someone that drives a truck for there work or to manage there ranch. alot of people that i know wish they had cars to drive but they have to have a truck to make a living. tree huggers need to think. seriously they are screwing alot up for alot of people.

It's for promoting purpose, plus, it's not about discriminate, recognition, equal or not equal. Most of those parking spot also have a device called charger station! If you drive a car that doesn't need that device, and you park there, it's either you're ruth, inconsiderated, or you're not well!
