Had them for about one year size is about 20 cm something on both male and female. They laid their batch in a converted back-to-nature module. Ph is neutral, temp around 25 C, Heavy filtration with a emersed plant filtration plus an army of both internal and one eheim 2080. Water changes once or twice a week. Feeding is based on Hikari gold "sinking" and what we call shrimpmix here in Sweden (whole shrimps, spirulina, green peas etc) and Hikari excell.
Lots of hidingplaces, plants and a grow out group of nine.
Sad thing now is tghat i have to watch the male destroy my harmonic community of ornatums.. But it`s worth it.
Awesome indeed!! I have 2 that I believe are paired up since they grew out and took out all the others one by one to leave these two. Just no action yet...but i htink they are a little smaller than yours. I need to get them into there bigger thank. I will have just them and some dithers like silver dollars and giant dannios. Congrats again...and longer vids!
I will post a longer vid when the come out of their nest. The female appears only for a second each time so theres really nothing more to show than the previous video. Oh yeah i house them in a 270-gal i think its in in your metric values
Theres a loot of fish in the tank and my "golden nuggets" looks hungry... But they defended their nest for two nights now so i hope they can raise them to free svimmers!
