Nevermind. The male just flatten his whole disc. I'm a stingray noob so I may ask or say dumb things,lol. I realized that since the shipping water leaked out. Who knows when that happen, so he had limited space. So, he was in a tuck and roll position for a few hours so makes since he held some curling action. lol
Have some concern's on BD pups or BD in general?

yea.... lets see some pictures. Being NEW to rays, i still wouldnt have gone with flowers... I hope you have done the research on rays and dont kill them. what size tank are they going in? what filtration system are you using?

I think Flowers being a VERY ppor choice for a starter ray was brought up like 18 pages ago.... LOL
I still chuckle a bit on the inside about the thought of keeping Flowers and Tiggers when I thin k about the pic that turns up every once and a while of the giant Tigger and Flower that someone has in a pond and they are sticking thier hand under the front of the disc. Look to be 3' across. After seeing the tails on those things it makes me think 8' wide as the minimum for an adult.
No biggie right? Just put them in a pond? Have fun with that. I just moved my Marbles into a tank and needless to say, not sure I'll ever pond any of my rays again without good reason. SO much nicer looking and easier to care for in a tank.

They will be stressed and probably not eat right away. Usually they arrive underfed and stressed from importing. Make everything as unstressful as possible. No lights, cover tank if in a high traffic area. Leave live black worms or/and ghost shrimp in there at all times.

So, far so good. There alive and doing great. I have them in my 120g for now (I know to small). There in my room and the lights are off. I have a rena xp3 running. I am in the process of buying a cpr cs overflow to attach to my current sump. The overflow box I have now is not siphoning fast enough (no skimmer. had to DIY a skimmer box. Not able to get a strong flow in the Utube). My water pump (mag flow 7) is to powerfull. The overflow is only doing 400 gph and the magflow does 700 gph.
I was planning on only buying a pair of MM's at the start. Then after all this waiting and being new to rays. I got over excited and bought flowers and pretend bds. Oops to late now.
I'm going to be setting up my indoor pond/pool 530gal. It's 8' round, 18" tall and has hard plastic sides. I'm in the process of making a diy sump for it.
I would much rather have a 500gal acrylic tank that was at least 36" wide. But, my doorways are way to narrow. Sucks!
