  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah Yeah Yeah Pictures or it didn't happen. Show some with you and Gbusiness written on a piece of paper so nobody calls you out on it. Still think its BS, plus I can't believe that for the 10-12weeks that you have been waiting on the rays you didn't sort on better filtration serious mistake there. I mean an xp3 on a 120gal? When my 55Gal was up and running it had an xp3..and 2 emperor 400s.

I would much rather have a 500gal acrylic tank that was at least 36" wide. But, my doorways are way to narrow. Sucks!

My doorway's 32" and I fit a 31 3/4 tall tank that's 4' deep through it. All you gotta do is turn it on end. ;) No need for more then 30" of height.

Your funs just beginning and they arrived in that condition and through UPS at that.:( They will be stressed and probably not eat right away. Usually they arrive underfed and stressed from importing. Make everything as unstressful as possible. No lights, cover tank if in a high traffic area. Leave live black worms or/and ghost shrimp in there at all times.

GL Flowers are a treasure but can be very delicate and easily stressed until acclimated to their new home.
Yea, I plan on feeding them tommorrow. The tank is in my room, I'm barely in it. So, the flowers have been in the dark for a while. I plan on buying canadian N.crawlers from knutson livebait.com. Ghost shrimp I will look into also. I have at the moment frozen krill and bloodworms.

damn 1 hour of reading in between my water changes and no conclusion! what bs! i want some pictures with proof they are yours. you owe me that at least for making me read this crap :)

anyone else notice he only responds to the post he wants too? reminds me of that albino kid that got banned....

oh btw i have 4 BD pups for 500 each send moneygrams only!

Is this the massaggression in Indian Orchard, MA? I have been there, it was about a year ago... maybe less. It was a very small place with some unusual fish. It was very interesting. I also met the owner, I don't know if I would call him a scammer or not since I didn't buy anything from him and he didn't talk me into buying anything. He is a younger guy though early 20's maybe mid to late twenties if I am not that good of a guesser. I also was not all that sure that he knew as much as he thought he did about the fish he keeps. I mean he was specializing on the more aggressive fish, like Cichlids. Well even if he only focused on Cichlids he still couldn't know everything about all the cichlids that are out there. Plus he was into a lot of different fish so I don't see how he could now enough about all the fish he had in stock. He knows enough to sound good and do a fair job but to really take car of the fish and know all the best deals I wouldn't believe that.

Well anyway I live only about 45 minutes from there so that is why I was wondering, If you want send me gas money and I will spin by there and see if there are any rays in his shop. Thing is though I don't know where he would put them, the shop wasn't all that big. He was talking about opening a Store in Boston as well, which was why he wasn't opened more in the Indian Orchard store. Of course Boston is only about an Hour away so that wouldn't make that much difference to me. I just have never seen the Boston store if he still has it even. If it is as small as his first store there wouldn't be much room for a ray tank. He would have to be keeping them in smaller tanks which isn't the best for them, and unless he has a kiddie pool out back there wasn't any tank big enough for 4 rays. Well that is neither here nor there in your saga.

Also in massagressions defense he isn't opened all the time. This isn't a really big fish store and he only uses poorly paid employees if at all. So the store isn't opened that much since he covers it most of the time and he also works out in Boston. So on his side he wouldn't be able to get things done as quickly or thoroughly as he should or as a regular experienced well manned store would.

With that being said, I still would agree with most of the people on this site that what you are doing is just ridiculous. Unless the two rays that you now have are worth all you have spent then you still have a huge potential to get scammed. It sounds like you spent a fortune and that you still have a lot of fish that are supposed to be shipped, including the most expensive ones. He may have just shipped you two cheap ones to hold you off longer to make sure there is no chance of you getting your money back. I will admit to not knowing anything about rays other then they are round, sorta flat, beyond my skill level, and way beyond my price range. OK used up my knowledge of rays. I also admit to not knowing much about fish in general. I only have a 150g tank for my cichlids and a 55g community tank. But I do know when my fish tanks need to be cleaned better because they start to smell like your deal. I also know that you are really on shaky ground. Because with this he has pushed you beyond your recovery date for the rest of your money and he now has proof that he has shipped you fish. So if you try to file any claims he will pull up a proof of delivery and you will be all done for. You have no proof as to what was shipped since the delivery most likely only listed live fish. Further the security PayPal promises is a scam in it's own right. They only really guarantee items if they are from eBay, eBay and PayPal or owned by the same entity. Buyer guarantee from eBay also isn't a lock, you would be surprised to find out how many people have lost money on eBay using PayPal. Do a search on it and you will be shocked at how many times they fail to live up to their promises. As far as getting money back from PayPal when it comes to any vendor other then eBay forget it. I have lost money twice, using PayPal to pay for purchases outside of eBay. Once when I shopped on a site that PayPal sent me to for gods sake and another time buying software. The company sent me two blank CDs instead of a broken PS2. I was told that since the shipper had proof that the item was shipped that they couldn't start a claim and settled in the shippers favor. I even sent them proof of what was delivered signed by the postal clerk who I opened up the package in front of. Still with all the proof and pictures of the contents, they still let me lose my 25 dollars. So if they wouldn't stand up for me, a 15 year PayPal customer, when I was scammed 25 dollars what do you think they will do for you. Even if you filed right away you wouldn't have seen a penny of that money back unless he gave it to you himself.

But besides all that even if you get all the fish you were promised you have already been through more hassles and stress then it's worth. Well unless the special rays are real and you are getting 1500 dollar rays for 500. Then you can eat a lot of horse-crap and swallow a lot of stress to account for that much of a profit. But so far you have waited for way to long and put up with an awful lot of stress and frustration to only have two flowers.

I unlike some here do believe you have gotten your fish, since you are able to describe a lot about what they are doing including things that wouldn't necessarily be thought of unless they happened. But it sounds more like another stalling tactic. This was way to risky of a chance to be taking and even if you get all the fish you were promised you still should never do something like that again. Never send money that can't be gotten back. Use a good credit card, if a business can't take a CC then what kind of business is it???? If for some reason it seems like not being able to accept traceable forms of payment makes sense then get something of his for collateral. Better yet use an escrow account. If he is short of cash then have him take out a loan to get the fish, he is a business man and should be able to get a small business loan for a short period. Any of that is better then for you to just throw a thousand bucks at anyone with no way to get it back if something goes wrong. What happened if he died two days later. You would have no money and no way to get it. You never know what will happen even with the best of sellers so never trust people with stuff you wouldn't be willing to lose.

Hey if you don't care about risk management then I do really have a great deal for you. I will sell you the little guy below that I have, for 250 dollars. Not sure if he is worth anything since I don't know much about them. He is a male 5" black diamond. He can't be that good of a fish though since he isn't all that black and his spots don't look like diamonds at all but if you think he is worth it just send me the money via western union and I will be happy to ship you the little guy via UPS overnight air for only an additional 50 dollars shipping and packaging.

Then you will be able to enjoy a big load of crap. I can send you pictures and videos of this fish all day. Well not all day as I would only be making 300, but if I was making thousands then I could but in a lot of effort in collecting pictures and videos from the net. Plus it wouldn't even be that hard to stick me in front of a tank with the ray in it.

I wouldn't be surprised though if this ?Nate? was serious about what he said. When I met him he was wheeling and dealing and trying to get all kinds of deals. So he may be really trying to get these and using your money to pay for the fish. He uses your money and gets a free fish out of the deal so no loss to him. That is if the deal goes through. He does have a lot of different connections just like any fish retailer, so he may be on to something and you may be getting a deal or he could of misunderstood and you are paying regular price for a ray that he thought was something else and misrepresented to you.

Well let me stop this late night caffeine fueled ramble and just say that please from now on. Do research first on any place you are dealing with. Check the BBB check sites like this and never never just send cash. Use escrow services or a really good credit card company.
