Have you ever ate a fish you had?

A... let's just say acquaintance... had an RTC that was the most skiddish mother on the planet. The RTC lived in a glass 220 and had had a couple goes at the end glass panels eventually breaking it out...... After the second time this happened (I was present for the second break) I kid you not, the RTC went from the floor to the fryer in less than 5 minutes.

......or if that fish did something to really pi$$ you off LOL

The missus fell in love with a baby red tailed giant gourami at the pet shop so i bought it her to put in my 160g tank. "Oh, it's so cute", she gushed. I'm sniggering in the background knowing full well what an ugly monster it'll turn into. I read somewhere that in the far east giant gourami are farmed for their meat, delicious apparently. I doubt it'll ever find its way onto the dinner plate though, she'd drown me in the tank first!

Ugly? I think they are beautiful! Still on my bucket list, so don't eat it but just send it to me and I'll send some Maine lobsters

So my friend has a Rtc... I was talking to him the other day, and asked him what he's planning on doing when he gets huge.. His reply with a straight face was; if he gets that big I'll eat him... Which got me thinking has anyone on here had a fish fry? If so what what was it. I read somewhere that someone ate their pacu because it go to big, and they couldn't re-home it.

fish are like family.most people don't eat family!!!!
