Nice size tank!....perhaps it would have made more sense to have a cage made up before the poor ray got so badly damaged,there has to be a plan B just incase things don't go as planned,P14s are known to be an aggressive species......didn't they badly maul those Scobina only a few weeks ago?Its great providing your rays with such a large tank but having a mature smaller tank at the ready if things go horribly wrong would make perfect sense.

another mistake you go on like i have made loads
can you name all the mistakes i have made as you know me so well
with this new ray i was going on the things that have happened in the past
1. the male p14 seamed to hate other mature males in the tank that the reason when i was buying a pair of marbles from lee that i paid £50 more to make sure a male i was meant to be buying didn't come to my tank
2. the female marble i got from lee was fine with the male p14 and he showed no interest she was the same size as this Leo
3. i put the new Leo in the tank and she was fine for the 1st few hours when i stayed in the shed to monitor things it wasn't until the next morning when i returned to the shed that i noticed the bite marks
4. i like to get other people views on things
5. from what i have seen in the past males only show interest in gravid females
6. we all learn by our mistakes and i admit i have made some in the past I'm sure you have also made some WE ALL HAVE
he who is with out sin should cast the 1st stone comes to mind
