Well, I put a short ram intake, slotted and drilled rotors, ceramic pads, and blocked the boost blowoff on my Redline. Does that count?

My summer rides have been put away since the 24th of August

The boat is winterized and in a storage facility. The truck is covered up and in the garage...will have to drive it to work on a nice day every month or two to keep the battery charged...we don't get the snow like you do, but it seems to rain about 7 months a year here in the extreme N. Calif...and I have better things to do than washing road splatter off the truck.

The C6 has comparable performance to the C5 Z06. Get the newer one, unless you like the pop-up headlights

Don't get me wrond I like then C6 better but 04' is when I graduated. So it's nastalgic. if it wasn't for that then I would be getting newer.


And no I don't really like the popup head lights. And the way they are vaccum operated on mine SUCKS. lol When the 05's came out I originally didn't like them. But now I have grown quite fond Of them.

The Redline cuts up the turns. Skidpad rating of .91, it actually does better around bumpy shamrocks, it's frontwheel drive. The Vette pushes through the turns, and skips over the bumps. Ask JD_MAN, my car holds the road.

LOL I have yet to get a ride in a new one. I think next year I'm going to a dealer with mine and talking them inot letting me drive one. And letting them think I am trading mine in. lol the only way I am geting rid of mine is if I losse my job.

Sorry you had to put the vette to sleep for the winter. I feel your pain, This is actually my dads, but him and i show it through out the year.. It's now packed up in the trailer and in storeage for a few months...
There's a few dings and scratches, but this is a driver not a trailer queen.

The brand new C6 with the exhaust upgrade puts out 436 HP and 428 ft-lbs to the crank. I decided a month ago to take it out on a nice freshly paved country backroad. I floored it from 0 and hit the shift points pretty well. I went over 150 MPH in about 20 seconds and quit. Next Spring we're taking it to the track that has the longest straightaway in North America apparently. Supposedly it tops out at 190, I'll get as close as I can. I was sweating through my shirt at 150.

Top speed with the Z51 package is 197 mph, also get a much stiffer suspension with that package. I bolted on some headers, x-pipe and left the stock mufflers and exhaust option and the car sounds like a rocket. I was screwing with a nissan skyline today and in no time was doing 160 and could have caught him but had to lay off. Love my vette very easy car to drive, Ewurm damn your lucky guy get to drive your girls car and not make a single payment I envy you. Next option is supercharger in the next month of so want this car to be a absolute animal.

My other baby just went in for winter. Vette stays out for sure

I need new gears in the ass end of mine. I can do 110 FAST!! but after that she screams at me like no other. but if I had 3 more gears to play with I could do 150 easy. But when you got 3 gears instead of 6 you're kinda short handed.
