Yuki Rihwa, you are right. If the house stayed at 55f, I would be in trouble. I do have one thing going for me - it takes a lot to heat or cool water, especially 55g of it. The heater is enough that the temperature doesn't fall more than one or two degrees before morning. That is all I need. Yes it is on almost all night, but not so by day.
