I could be because you silver owners are lazy and just dump in loads of food that drops to the bottom meaning the aro has to go down for food

I have two silver aros and they were both born together, one has it, one doesn't. I feed a fairly decent variety on a rotating basis which includes:
Hikari Floating Food Sticks
Hikari Massivore Pellets
Freeze Dried Blood Worms
Live super worms
Frozen Shrimp (thawed obviously)
Frozen Tilapia (thawed as well)
At this point, I have no expectations of the second guy NOT getting dropeye. I assume it will simply happen sooner than later.
it is caused by the arowana looking down to look for food instead of always looking up for food as they do in the wild
Funny I bet your Asian aros don't get hlld or hith either.

Oh....So your back to just the silver owners are the ones who dump the food. How do you know it's only the silver owners doing this? And not the owners of blacks, jars, and asians? Most silver keepers just dump food in making the aro take food from the bottom

The point is you have no idea what your talking about. Still.
